Have to be really optimistic to hope for a solution. But Medium has a lot going for it. Unusual gems of writing hidden among the crap, interesting people, a simple interface for writers, a unique comment system, clean design, and yes, freedom of speech. Guess that’s why I’m still here, five years after my first post. However all those positives do not justify Medium’s non-inclusive attitude towards writers outside the western bloc. So every now and then, I blow off a bit of steam. But they just ignore anyone who speaks out. Probably like the proverbial ostrich, they are hoping I will be gone when they pull their head out of sand.
