Medium initially projected itself as an inclusive platform, with the payment issues to writers outside the US being sorted out. But it’s over three years since the payment program began. It’s obvious now they never had any intention of paying us. They figured out writers from the rich countries are the influential ones. As long as they get paid, they will overlook the non-inclusive nature of the platform. Finally, it all comes down to ethics. If you have a chance to exploit someone, will you or won’t you? Medium chose the latter, and all I can do is pity them for being so small-minded.
